The church itself added a special sentimental value to their wedding day, as Lucy’s mother, and grandmother had both actually been married at St Peter’s, too. It was very nice to hear that three generations had held their weddings in the same church.
Both the bride and groom got ready at their parents’ houses, with the bridal party fluttering around excitedly at both houses.
Lucy looked absolutely beautiful in her stunning 1940s inspired dress, and Ted didn’t scrub up too bad either!
The fun began at the reception with guests looking out over the city from The Boulevard in Kew. It was a lovely atmosphere to enjoy a drink out on the deck, admiring the view and watching the festivities begin.
One of Lucy’s bridesmaids made a beautiful wedding cake, it looked great and I caught many of Lucy and Ted’s guests admiring it during the reception.
I’m happy to have witnessed such an enjoyable wedding day!
