I immediately formed a bond with Suzi and Simm when I found out they live in Wagga Wagga; hearing their stories about regional Australia reminded me of my time living in Toowoomba.
Originally from Melbourne, the couple plans to wed in Lorne next year, but they’re moving to Brisbane for Simm’s army job. A drummer in the marching band, Simm later exclaimed with surprise that he’d enjoyed our photo session. It may or may not have had something to do with our pre-shoot drinks at the Standard in Fitzroy. We’ll leave that open to debate.
