The couple got ready surrounded by family, joking and teasing throughout the process. Chris found himself in a bit of a time crunch, but his mum came to the rescue and made sure they got out on time.
The outdoor ceremony was lovely and heartfelt. Alison and her bridesmaid carried beautifully textured bouquets of succulents, orchids, and ferns [might want to check this]. The lush gardens made a stunning backdrop to the dark greens and navy accents in the bouquets.
Afterward, we strolled around the grounds, having fun with the couple’s fun, quirky ideas for shots. They both seemed keen to enjoy the quiet time together, enjoying a drink and laughing along with their bridal party. Alison later confided: “We were initially worried about feeling awkward but we barely noticed her taking snaps and the engagement session helped. We loved working with her.”
Alison and Chris are currently on a ’round-the-world trip for three months. We’re not jealous at all! Luckily, they’ve promised to take lots of photos to share when they get back.
