Wedding ceremonies tend to be seriously formal affairs, but that definitely wasn’t the case at Suzi and Simm’s event in the seaside town of Lorne. Midway through the ceremony, the bridesmaids and groomsmen brought in a boombox and busted out a choreographed dance routine to James Brown. While the couple enjoyed their friends’ surprise performance, the guests were literally dancing in the aisles. After they swapped vows, the newlyweds and their guests headed to Marquee for a tented reception, just a stone’s throw from the beach. During a quick portrait session, Suzi’s vintage-inspired lace dress looked absolutely stunning against the coastal hues.
From Suzi: Lizzy was excellent. She just made everything so easy and comfortable. I love the way she took charge in our post ceremony shoot to keep us on track whilst still having a hilarious time. I think it also takes a true professional to move through a crowd and capture all the special moments, all without really being noticed. The end result is some truly beautiful photos of a very memorable day.
