Emma and Tim’s St Kilda Pier Wedding

Emma and Tim’s wedding day seemed to fall seamlessly into place. It was exactly what the couple wanted: a relaxed and fun day spent with their nearest and dearest. The setting really couldn’t have been more perfect. Picture this: a quaint weatherboarded kiosk perched at the end of St Kilda Pier. Guests are sipping on G&Ts and mingling while the sun sets out over the water. Many of the guests are sporting colourful and fun sunnies supplied by the couple. Live music is provided by the Baker Boys band. Laughter and chatter can be heard right down the pier as the guests settle into the night.

For us, it was a fun and easy day. Emma and Tim, self-professed “non-creative” types, were keen to follow our guidance and were happy to go with the flow. They were both keen to have some photos beforehand so as not to miss much of the party, and for the day to flow seamlessly for their guests from ceremony to reception. Due to their desire to keep things casual, there were very few formalities during the reception, so we were asked just to let them know when it would be a good time to duck out for some sunset shots. Such a dream brief for us. Oh, and didn’t we have some fun walking along the pier and playing with the perfect light! It was a great opportunity for us all to really take in the stunning sunset and spectacular city views.
