It was important to Kylie and Kyel that they have a relaxed and fun wedding; and Werribee Mansion was perfect for their vintage inspired wedding with fun modern flair! Kylie and Kyel loved the practicality of having their wedding at Werribee Mansion. They felt it important to be relaxed and fully soaked up the experience of their venue and did this by enjoying a night at Werribee Mansion hotel the night before the big day. To really ensure they felt relaxed they had massages and an intimate dinner in the hotel restaurant before the festivities began. The idea of no cars or moving around on their big day was very appealing and put them right at ease.
Their were plenty of unique touches that Kylie and Kyel added to their wedding day. A favourite moment for them both was their first dance. Which started with a a beautiful slow version of “I wanna dance with somebody” But then they had the original Whitney Houston version played immediately after. That’s when they asked everyone to join in and everyone was dancing and singing and really getting into it. It was fun and silly and just exactly what the couple wanted in that moment.
We loved that during the ceremony the couple asked the celebrant prior to reading the legal statement “marriage in Australia is between a man and a woman..” that their guests cover their ears in protest. As one day the couple hope that marriage equality will be granted in Australia and everyone will be allowed to marry who they love.
Kylie and Kyel had these lovely words about working with us…
Lizzy instantly makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. She has the talent of capturing really candid beautiful moments and bringing out the best in people. Our whole bridal party absolutely loved her. Lizzy was amazing. We are so so happy we chose her. She is easy to work with, is totally flexible with getting all the photos you want. But also has a great eye for finding the right spots for great photos.
