To Hair and Make Up or, Not to Hair & Make Up?

A really common question from female portrait clients before a shoot is, should I have my hair and make up professionally done? Ultimately it is a very personal choice. Our advice is always to keep it simple and natural. If you don’t normally have your hair “tszuj-ed” up to the rafters and wear heavy make up – then don’t! At the end of the day you want to look like you.

For those clients that do decide to go ahead with hair and make up we always recommend the artist keep it light and as natural as possible and the day of your shoot is not the best time to try out a new hair style. We don’t want you feeling self conscious and worrying about what your hair is doing. We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable during your shoot and feeling like the very best version of YOU.
