“I was extremely impressed with the whole experience, and the photo’s we received were perfect.” – Andrew
An interview with Surgeon Andrew Macleod about his work and his experience of a Lizzy C portrait session.
What do you do? Tell us a bit about what you do.
I’m a general surgeon and endoscopist in North East Victoria. I specialise in treating a range of conditions, including breast, bowel and skin cancer, gallbladder surgery, thyroid surgery, hernia surgery and endoscopy.
Why did you choose to have professional profile photos taken and what will you use your portraits for?
I’m developing a website to give my patients more information about both me as a surgeon and their upcoming procedure. I want my patient’s to have access to such resources so they feel well informed.
Tell us about your experience working with her. Were you happy with the results of your shoot?
Liz was great to work with. I have no experience whatsoever in getting professional photo’s taken, but Liz has a very relaxed approach which made our photo session easy. I was extremely impressed with the whole experience, and the photo’s we received were perfect. Liz and my website designer Helen spoke beforehand about the type of shots we needed for our website, and Liz took all this into account during our session. I would have no hesitation in recommending Liz.
Tell me about how you got into your field.
I was always interested in medicine and surgery, and after spending time in breast cancer research I was accepted into medical school, subsequently pursuing a career in surgery.
What is the best piece of career advice you were ever given?
Operate on every patient like you would your own family.
Why did you choose to hire Lizzy C Photography?
Lizzy C was recommended to me by my website designer after reviewing her professional portfolio.
