I really enjoyed working with Grace. Even though she was nervous at first her warm and interesting personality quickly shone through. Grace was very clear on where she was positioned in her field and it was such a thrill for me to work closely with her to produce headshots which illustrated her warm personality as well as her experience and standing in her profession. What do you do? Tell us a bit about what you do.
C-Suite, senior executive and high potential emerging leaders in complex global, multi-national and Australian organisations work with me to accelerate their growth and impact in their work, life and world. Ultimately, they empower those around them towards high contribution and performance. I do this with individual leaders and with senior leadership teams as an executive leadership coach.
Tell me about how you got into your field.
Transitioning from a senior leadership role in a global professional services firm to being an executive leadership coach was a natural move for me. It was an extension of some of what I was doing in my corporate role. The difference is that instead of working within one organisation, I work with executive leaders from many and very diverse industries in both Australia, around AsiaPacific and globally.
What is the best piece of career advice you’ve received?
One fabulous CEO I worked with early in my leadership career said to me “Grace, if you are not making waves out there, you are not doing enough”. It was a great lesson in stepping into discomfort to grow and make a difference.
Why did you choose to have professional profile photos taken and what will you use your portraits for?
My last set of professional photos were six years old. The gift of Covid has been that I was able to try out going natural with my hair which I’m loving. Time therefore to bring my profile images into 2022!

Lizzy C’s responsiveness, care and willingness to answer some of my very basic questions were key to deciding to go with her.
Tell us about your experience working with her. Were you happy with the results of your shoot?
I am not great at being photographed and was a little anxious at the start. As soon as I met Lizzy, my mind calmed somewhat. Lizzy’s no fuss attitude, her great suggestions and ideas and questions made her really easy to work with. She sought to understand my context and tailored her approach to be relevant. I’m very happy with the result. While I took the five photo package, I ended up with 14 final selection having sought input from my family, friends and clients. Thank you, Lizzy.
