I had a chat with technology manager, Moira about her need for good quality up to date head shots. She feels they are more essential than ever now that remote working is a part of how everyone works now. We had a lot of fun capturing her warm, professional and fun personality and images that reflect this.
What do you do? Tell us a bit about what you do.
I am a Technology Manager, working in delivering Enterprise solutions.Tell me about how you got into your field.
My undergraduate degree is in Tourism research and management, about year into my first job in a Tourism organisation I moved into an IT role working with the reservations systems and I never went back!
What is the best piece of career advice you’ve received?
There is no one moment that stands out. I have had the privilege of working for some brilliant people, the “best advice” is probably to learn and take inspiration from the good people.Why did you choose to have professional profile photos taken and what will you use your portraits for?
Adding a photo, particularly in the world of remote working, is becoming a common thing. It’s great to have a few great shots when they are called for.
Why did you choose to hire Lizzy C Photography?
Lizzy’s approach of a one to one session provided a no-stress way to get some photos taken (I am one of the “I hate having my photo taken” people) and the gallery showed Lizzy’s relaxed and natural looking style which is what I was looking for.
Tell us about your experience working with her. Were you happy with the results of your shoot?
I was very happy with the results, the session itself was relaxed and not at all self-conscious. Lizzy makes getting your photo taken a fun experience.
