What do you do? Tell us a bit about what you do.
I work in change management. In a nutshell, change management focuses on how to help people engage, adopt and integrate a change in their day-to-day work. I work across all levels of the organisation, from executive to frontline employees. I also provide coaching one on one.
Tell me about how you got into your field.
I fell into it! Change management is a niche field, and not something you specifically study for at university. I was working in management consulting and I was placed on a change management engagement with a mining company in Perth. I loved it! And have been doing it ever since.
What is the best piece of career advice you’ve received?
To learn and grow, you need to go outside of your comfort zone and stretch yourself. Become comfortable with being uncomfortable. You’ll never have all the answers and that’s OK.
